Biography

Veterinary Technician by day, novelist by night. An avid reader and lifelong fan of Fantasy and Science Fiction, D.E.K. Blair has always believed in the magic of a good story. She's an unapologetic animal lover and proud dog-mom to a medically surrendered dog whom she has helped battle through his long healing journey.

As the youngest sibling, she embodies every stereotype - equal parts stubborn, creative, and determined. D.E.K. Blair prides herself on being able to have learned how to avoid misadventures from her older siblings. As a young girl, she loved following her older siblings around, constantly asking 'why' hoping to learn about the world or hearing fanciful tales.

When she's not reading, you'll likely find her in the kitchen, where she's known as an excellent baker. You may also spot her at the local Celtic festivals representing her ancestral clan. She is a Dungeon Master in multiple D&D campaigns with her friends, where she has created a unique world and setting for her players to explore. She is a Renaissance Faire enthusiast, and overall nerd, having crafted many of her friends outfits and acessories for the challenge of trying something new.
